FREDERICK ARTHUR FISTLER age 87 of Winter Haven, Florida, formerly a lifelong resident of Richmond died unexpectedly on Saturday, April 5, 2008 in his home. Mr. Fistler was born December 4, 1920 in Richmond to the late Ernest and Mary (Pluckhahn) Fistler. He married Natalie "Tillie" Kulczycky in Hamtramck on July 5, 1941. Mrs. Fistler died November 11, 2006. Fred retired January 2, 1981 as a tool and die maker for Colonial Broach in Detroit. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Richmond and a former member of the Knights of Columbus Council #2667 in Richmond. He enjoyed hunting, playing cards and going to the casinos. He is survived by his children, Karen and Edward Santo of Winter Haven and David and Karen Fistler of Chesterfield, daughter-in-law, Patricia Bartosiewicz of Richmond, step-brother, Eugene and Marilyn Fistler of Richmond, seven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by his son, Rodney Fistler on July 23, 1973. A funeral service will be on Thursday at 10:30 am in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Father Joseph Plawecki will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Richmond. Visiting will be on Wednesday from 3 to 8pm and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30am in the funeral home.
