Dr. Frank James Markie Jr.

Dr. Frank James Markie Jr., 86, of Richmond, passed away Friday, October 7, 2022 at The Village of East Harbor. Frank was born June 5, 1936 to Frank and Rhea Markie. Frank is survived by his wife, Kathleen Markie, children, Matthew Markie, Kathleen Miller-Stephens (Lesley), Michael (Ellen) Markie, James (Bambi) Markie, Anne (Mark) Brownrigg, and John (Stacy DeWitt) Markie, grandchildren, Elsbeth, Margaret (Tristen), Kelsey, Lynn (Kirk), Reid, Scott, Zachary, Ian, Adam, Aaron and Ric, great grandchildren, Timothy, Isabelle, and Maeve. Frank is preceded in death by his son, Adam Markie. Frank was a Dentist in Richmond for 50 years and was a long time member of the Richmond Lions Club. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing.
Visitation will be 2:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 16, 2022 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062. Funeral Mass will be on Monday, October 17th at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 68035 Main St, Richmond, MI 48062.
