Annette Eileen Evans

ANNETTE EILEEN EVANS age 53 of Richmond, formerly of East Pointe died Sunday, January 16, 2011 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Annette was born August 29, 1957 in St. Petersburg, Florida to Thomas and Sharon (Liley) Hamill. She graduated from East Detroit High School in 1975 and lived most of her adult life in East Pointe. She married Daniel Evans in Richmond on September 6, 1986. Mrs. Evans enjoyed collecting dolls and gardening but will be most remembered as an excellent cook. She is survived by her husband, Daniel, children; Mitchell and Chelsie Evans both of Richmond, mother; Sharon Hamill of Kimball, mother-in-law; Shirley Vieau of Armada, siblings; David (Cara) Hamill of Florida, Darci (Raymond) Achatz of East Pointe, Carol (Keith) Klingensmith of Grosse Pointe Woods and John (Linda) Hamill of New Haven She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Hamill on February 23, 2004 and her father-in-law, Archie Evans. A funeral service will be Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 10am in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Reverend Gerhardt Doroh, pastor of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Richmond will officiate. Visiting will be Tuesday from 3 to 8pm and Wednesday from 9 to 10am. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family or St. Jude Hospital.
