William F. O'Brien

WILLIAM FRANCIS O'BRIEN age 78 of Mussey Township, formerly of Detroit died Tuesday, November 2, 2010 in Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. Mr. O'Brien was born January 12, 1932 in Detroit to the late William and Evelyn (Corbiel) O'Brien. He graduated from St. Ambrose High School in Detroit in 1950 and served in the United States Navy. Bill worked in a management position at Chrysler Corp. for twenty-seven years. While in the Navy Bill was a Golden Glove Boxer and remained as a personal friend of Emanual Stewart, renown trainer. He is survived by his children, Michael (Mary) O'Biren of Capac, Debbie O'Brien of Highland and Kathleen O'Brien of Fair Haven, his sister, Mary Green of Garden City and grandchildren, Sean, Therese and Michael O'Brien. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Patricia O'Brien, children, Jimmy, Terry and Dennis O'Brien and sister, Barbara Harry. Cremation services have been handled by Rewalt Funeral Home in Richmond, Michigan.
