William J. Capozzo

WILLIAM JOHN CAPOZZO age 82 of Richmond died Wednesday, April 24, 2013 in his home. Mr. Capozzo was born June 4, 1930 in Richmond, MI to the late Anthony and Frances (Ardito) Capozzo. He graduated from St. Augustine Catholic High School in Richmond in 1950 and married Carol MacDonald in Richmond on June 28, 1952. Bill owned and operated Bill's Barber Shop in Washington until his retirement. He was a member of the Washington Lions Club and served as Deputy District Governor for District 11A-2 for 1977 and 1978. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and playing Cribbage. He has won numerous trophies in Cribbage making him a self proclaimed "Champion". He is survived by his wife, Carol, sister-in-law, Josephine Capozzo of Canton and several nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers; Melvin, Michael and Joseph. A memorial service will be on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 11:00 am in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Visiting will be from 10 to 11am. Reverend Edward Ritter will officiate. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Michigan Diabetes Association.
