WILLIAM FREDRICK BROUGH age 85 of Columbus township died Saturday, June 18, 2011 in the Romeo Care Center after an extended illness. Mr. Brough was born June 10, 1926 in Mount Clemens, Michigan to the late Francis and Marion (Miles) Brough. He graduated from Romeo High School in 1943 and was a World War II veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. He retired in 1981 as a tool engineer at National Twist Drill in Rochester. Bill was a member of the Michigan Handicraft Association. He enjoyed doing crafts and working with leather. He is survived by his children, Kenny Brough of Florida, Michael Brough of Pontiac, Frank (Barbara) Brough of Columbus and Barbara Brough of Coldwater, a sister; Betty (Clyde) Hotchkiss of Romeo, eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Brough. A funeral service will be on Wednesday, June 22nd at 10:00am in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Reverend Randy Lett, pastor of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Richmond will officiate. Burial will be in Cadillac Memorial East Cemetery. Visiting will be Tuesday, June 21st from 3 to 8pm and Wednesday from 9 to 10am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family.
