WAYNE KULMAN age 77, a lifelong resident of Richmond died September 29, 2009 in the Romeo Care Center after an extended illness. Mr. Kulman was born May 22, 1932 in Richmond Township to the late John and Zelma (Kuehn) Kulman. He married Carol Hunger in Richmond on June 1, 1985. Wayne graduated from Richmond High School in 1951 and went on to serve in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired May 1, 1991 after thirty-five years as a test driver from Ford Motor Company. He was a member of the First United Church of Christ in Richmond and enjoyed bowling, taking care of his lawn and flowers and playing the slots. He is survived by his wife, Carol, children, Michael Kulman of AZ., Karol and Ed Latimer of Richmond and Suzanne McKim of Richmond, siblings, Leroy and Rosemma Kulman of Marine City, Carl and Diane Kulman of Ray, Marvin and Lorrian Kulman of Richmond Twp., Gordon and Beverly Kulman of Casco, Florence Short of N.C. and Vonda Baumstark of Richmond Twp., sister-in-law, Beverly Kulman of Richmond Twp., eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Mark Kulman on March 24, 1998 and brothers, Elmer and Robert Kulman. A funeral service will be on Friday, October 2, 2009 at 10:00am in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Reverend Jennifer Long, pastor of the First United Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will be in Richmond Cemetery. Visiting will be Thursday from 3 to 8pm in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Memorial contributions may be directed to the First United Church of Christ
