Wayne Eugene Allen Sr.

Wayne Eugene Allen Sr., of Richmond, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023, at The Orchards of Armada Assisted Living Center. Wayne was born November 7, 1932. Loving son of the late Jack and Evelyn Stickney and devoted husband of the late Janet Allen; caring Father of Wayne (Kathy) Allen Jr. and Jack (Julia) Allen; cherished grandfather of Melisa (Shawn) Minier, Jennifer Allen, Benjamin (Lindsey) Allen, Caitlyn Allen, and Brian (Paige) Allen; great grandfather of Jaqueline, Teddy, Grace, Gavin, Weston, Vance, Wyatt, Paityn, Madison, Tristan, Lili, Shyann, Caleb, and Tenley. Wayne was also a loving brother to his sisters, Jacqueline Lieb and Lorraine Siders and he was the uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews. Wayne proudly served his country for 20 years in the United States Marine Corp. Tours of duty included wartime Korea and Vietnam as well as being stationed in Japan and Okinawa. He loved anything automotive or related to motorcycles. This lifelong interest encouraged him to ride motorcycles in many States as well as in Japan and Okinawa while he was stationed there. Most of all, Wayne loved and enjoyed his family and the many friends he made over the years with his beloved wife Janet. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held in central Ohio and the date, time and place will be determined and announced later.
