Walter Ostrowski

Walter A. Ostrowski, 70 of Lenox Twp. and formerly of Ferndale died Monday, March 9, 2009 in St. John River District Hospital after an extended illness. He was born in Hamtramck, MI on August 5, 1938 to Aloysius and Clara (Bielak) Ostrowski. Mr. Ostrowski worked as a self-employed electrician. He is survived by his mother Clara Ostrowski of Lenox, daughters Lisa (Tom) Decarlo of Lenox and Tina Husch of Shelby Township, sons Anthony Ostrowski, Carl (Tonya) Ostrowski, and Gary (Jamie) Ostrowski all of New Orleans, and Vincent Ostrowski of Detroit, sister Carol Ostrowski of Detroit, twelve grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at 2:00 pm at St. Michaels Cemetery, Richmond. Fr. Joseph Plawecki will officiate. Memorials may be directed to the wishes of the family.
