Walter "Chip" Richard Kuyda

Walter "Chip" Kuyda age 55 of Columbus Twp. died Thursday, August 12, 2010 after an extended illness. He was born January 16, 1955 to the late Walter and Gladys (Morrison) Kuyda. He served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. Mr. Kuyda married Mary in Port Huron, MI on January 18, 1974. He owned and operated Walts's Excavating for 35 years and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. In addition to his wife Mary, he is survived by his son Wayne (Jessica) Kuyda, daughter Natalee Kuyda of Jeddo, siblings Robyn (Joseph) Gibala of Luzerne, Marlene (Don) Basnaw of Kentucky, David ( Rebecca) Kuyda of Smith Creek, Linda (Robert) Laeder of Lapeer, granddaughter Alexis and special dog Nanook. Visitation will be Sunday, August 15, 2010 from 2 to 8 pm in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Memorial contributions may be directed towards the wishes of the family.
