WALTER JOHN GREENIA age 86 of Kimball Twp. formerly of Richmond and Emmett died Sunday October 3, 2010 in Marwood Manor Nursing Home after an extended illness. He was born on May 13, 1924 to Walter D. and Anna "Maude" (Measel) Greenia. Walter served in the U.S. Army during WW II and owned and operated Greenia's Custom Built Homes. He raised his four children in Emmett and was a former member of the Richmond and Emmett Lions, Moose and Eagle Clubs. He is survived by his children, Alan (Julie) of Kimball, Daniel (Debbie) of Emmett, Greg (Linda) of Port Huron and Terry (Lee) Emery of Leesburg, FL., six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters. A funeral service will be Thursday at 7:00pm in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Reverend Alvin Titus will officiate. Visiting will be Thursday from 4 to 7 pm in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Blue Water Hospice.
