Violet Janet Hager

VIOLET JANET HAGER age 75 of Armada died Saturday, March 24, 2012 in Medilodge of Richmond after an extended illness. Mrs. Hager was born May 1, 1936 in Comfort, West Viginia to the late Leslie and Mary (Oney) Ball. She married Thurman Hager in Madison, West Virginia on Aprill 14, 1953. Mr. Hager died December 29, 1990. Janet was a longtime member of the Community of Christ Church in Richmond and worked as a machine operator in the plastics industry. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah (David Bubel) Hager of St. Clair and Sandra Kay (Michael) Bowlby of Armada, six grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her infant son, two sisters and five brothers. A funeral service will be on Monday, March 26th at 10:00am in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Priest, Timothy Simpson will officiate. Burial will be in the Richmond Cemetery. Visiting will be Sunday from 3 to 8pm and Monday from 9 to 10am. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed for the wishes of the family.
