Victoria Melton

VICTORIA MELTON age 91 of Warren, Mi died Tuesday, August 25, 2015 in the Medilodge of Richmond after an extended illness. Mrs. Melton was born July 5, 1924 in Dawson, West Virginia to the late Genaro and Larice (Ferrise) Astorino. She graduated from Victory High School in Clarksburg, WV in 1942 and married Hershal Melton in Detroit on September 7, 1946. Mr. Melton died on August 1, 2003. Victoria was an active member of the Bethel Christian Church in Warren. She is survived by her sons; James and Carol Melton of Elgin, IL and John Melton of Warren, five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by six siblings. Cremation arrangements are being handled by Rewalt Funeral Home in Richmond. A memorial service will be on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 11:00 at Bethel Christian Church, 13200 East 11 Mile road, Warren, MI. 48089. Visiting will be from 10 to 11am.
