After a short battle with cancer, Veronica Ann Dupuis, 62, of Casco, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. Veronica was born January 22, 1962 to Edward and Virginia Bulski. Married to Lionel (Leo) Dupuis on May 9, 1981, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Richmond, Michigan.  Together Leo and Veronica raised three children, Janell (Brent) Whitenight, Ashley Dupuis, and Kyle (Jessica) Dupuis. Veronica was a much-loved grandmother of Avery and Garret Whitenight and Sawyer, Dawson and Jaclyn Dupuis. She is survived by her brother Stanley (Kathy) Bulski. Many nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Virginia Bulski, her sister, Bernadette Smith and granddaughter, Amelia Dupuis. Veronica was a faithful Catholic, attending St. Augustine and Immaculate Conception parishes.  She helped at parish fundraisers, attended Bible studies and regularly watered the Mary Garden.  Veronica was always involved in her children’s education.  Running the library at St. Augustine Catholic School for a couple of years and running the concession stand for their sports program.  She was an avid sports booster while her children attended Richmond High School, running the concession stand for many, many games.  While her son, Kyle, was serving in the U.S. Marine Corp, Veronica became very involved with Moms of Michigan Military and Supporters (MOMMS). Veronica and her dear friends met regularly to enjoy playing bridge together.    Veronica was very active with the St. Clair County 4-H Fair.  Serving as superintendent and judge for still exhibits, announcer for the sheep project auction and official “fair-do” hairdresser for all the kids and some adults! Veronica was extremely proud of her Polish heritage.  She led several family members in pierogi making each Christmas.  Her “Pierogi Dynasty” made about 400 pierogi each year.  She along with her brother, Stan, also made many pounds of fresh kielbasa each Easter. Veronica enjoyed cooking, camping, boating, but loved spending time with her grandchildren more than anything. Together Leo and Veronica along with family and friends visited many states, National Parks and many provinces of Canada.
