Verna Lillian Esther Teska

Verna Lillian Teska, 99, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 16, 2021 in Mt. Clemens. She was born on August 5, 1921, in Waldenburg, Michigan, to the late John and Emma Kuechenmeister Rewoldt. She married Raymond Teska on August 11, 1962, in Richmond.
Mrs. Teska was a long-time member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Richmond, MI. Verna's faith was of the utmost importance to her and gave her great comfort. She enjoyed many different types of craft work especially crocheting and sewing. Verna loved her family and friends, including the furry ones. She always had a rescue pup or kitten in the house.
She is survived by her two daughters, Marie Hanna (William) and Holly VandenBossche (Eric), and 3 grandkids. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond, brothers Norman and John Rewoldt, and 3 sisters Pearl Hamon, Eleanor Kling, and Margaret Hammond. Verna will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
Private Funeral Service will be held at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 67055 Gratiot Ave, Richmond, MI 48062. Pastor Mark Haller will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials/donations can be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
