Tina Sparkman

TINA MAE SPARKMAN, 79 of Richmond died Tuesday, February 13, 2007 in her home after an extended illness. She was born September 17, 1927 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late Samuel and Maude (Emerton) Maynard. She married Mal Sparkman on April 26, 1947 in Rossville, Georgia. Mrs. Sparkman was a homemaker and enjoyed playing bingo, sewing, cooking, and mostly spending time with her family. She is survived by her children: Brenda and Wayne Dollinger of Richmond, Kay and Lenny Krug of Houghton Lake, Steven Sparkman of New York, and Sheril and Michael Licavoli of Richmond, brothers Clifford and Donnie Maynard, both of Sparta Tennessee, sister Betty Roscoe of Alabama, eleven grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Mal on October 19, 1993, brothers, Bud, Willie, and Joe Maynard and sisters Jane Spakes and Pauline Spann. A funeral service will be Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in Rewalt funeral Home, Richmond. Reverend David King will officiate. Burial will be in Christian Memorial Cemetery, Rochester Hills, Michigan. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3 to 9 and Thurs. from 9:30 to 10 in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Hospice of Henry Ford St. Joseph Team.
