Thomas Leonard Vanhevel

Thomas Leonard VanHevel, 82, of Lenox, passed away at Lake Wales Medical Center (Florida), Wednesday, December 27, 2017. He is preceded in death by beloved wife of 62 years, Mary Jane VanHevel and grandson, Andrew Thomas VanHevel; Caring father of Thomas (Sue) VanHevel, Michael (Norma) VanHevel, Anne (Jeff) Bond and Patricia VanHevel; Loving grandfather of Eric (Amy), Darren (Jodi), Brian (Crystalyn), Joseph VanHevel; Jason VanHevel, Andrea (Jake) Thorne, Christina (Brian) Szczesniak, Jeremy (Renee) and Kyle Bond, Jonathan and Ryan Lutz; Great grandfather of 11. Also, survived by his sisters Marianne (Bob) Horn, Sandy (Sherwood) Shunck, Janet (Jim) Schuchard, Mary Worke, and brothers James (Letitia) VanHevel, John (Mary) VanHevel, Joseph Presko and best friend and companion, Josephine. Tom loved working on his farm, dancing, watching sports, playing golf and spending winters in Florida.
Visitation will be 2:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond 48062.
