THOMAS ARTHUR TESCHLER age 66 of New Baltimore died Monday, August 6, 2012 in his home after an extended illness. Mr. Teschler was born May 5, 1946 to Arthur and Lynda (Leverenz) Teschler. He married Lynn Walden in St. Clair on November 27, 1987. Tom graduated from Richmond High School in 1964 and retired in 2001 as a Dyno Tecnician for Ford Motor Company. After retiring he drove truck for TBL Steel Mfg. in Fraser. Tom was an avid sportsman belonging to the Huron Pointe Sportsman Club and the B & BS Gun Club. He enjoyed going to his cabin up north to hunt, fish, snowmobile and 4-wheel. He is survived by his wife, Lynn, his children, Thomas (Michele) Teschler of New Haven and Marie Teschler of Harsens Island, his mother, Lynda Teschler of Richmond, two granddaughters; Amber and Alexis "Gracie" Teschler and brother James (Nancy) Teschler of St. Clair. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Teschler on February 14, 1990 and in-laws; James and Margaret Walden. A funeral service will be Thursday, August 9th at 10:30am in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Reverend Kelsey Parker, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Richmond will officiate. Burial will be in the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan. Visiting will be Wednesday from 3 to 8pm and Thur. from 9:30 to 10:30am. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Disabled American Veterans or the American Heart Association.
