Thomas A. Marklewitz

THOMAS ALLEN MARKLEWITZ age 79 of East China Township, formerly of Fraser, MI died Monday, November 25, 2013. Mr. Marklewitz was born September 14, 1934 in Detroit to the late Elmer and Margaret Marklewwitz. He married Ruth Scharf in Detroit on September 28, 1963. Tom was a veteran of the United States Navy and retired as a toolmaker from Carboloy Company in Warren after several years. He was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Eastpointe and the L.F.A.. He enjoyed bowling. He is survived by his wife, Ruth and niece; Sharon Turgeon. A funeral service will be on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 10:00am in St. Peter Lutheran Church. Reverends Mark Haller and Gerhardt Doroh will officiate. Burial will be in St Peter Cemetery. Visiting will be from 9:30 to 10:00am in the church. Arrangements are being handled by Rewalt funeral Home in Richmond. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Peter Lutheran Church, 23000 Gratiot Avenue, Eastpointe, MI.
