Thomas Donald Chartrand

Thomas Donald Chartrand, 67, of Richmond, went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, April 30, 2017. Beloved husband of Rosemary Chartrand; Cherished father of Tracy (Darla) Wilson and Dana (Joshua) Mermell; Special grandfather of Taylor, Shayna, Max and Ellie. Also, survived by his sisters Nancy Scofield, Barb Schmude and Cindi Greenia, many brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Donald and Helen Chartrand and Mother-In-Law Mae Ottenbacher. Tom was a genuine, fun loving, energetic man who enjoyed the simple things in life. He had a great sense of humor, liked sports, exercising, dogs, was playful with kids, but mostly he was a person of great faith who loved Jesus and his family immensely. His greatest joy was helping others and making them smile. Visitation will be 3:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062. Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Columbus Bible Church, 1770 Palms Rd. Columbus, MI 48063.
