Theresa Mary Leger, 88, of Richmond passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021 at The Village of East Harbor. Theresa was born September 30, 1932 to the late Delpha and Maria Leduc. Beloved mother of Susan (Dorian Lange) Moore, Yvonne (David) Wirth, Robert Leger, Lisa (William) Frazier and Maribette (Jim) Tavano; cherished grandmother of Kaitlin (Justin Johnson) Moore, Benjamin (Melanie) Moore, Emily (Thomas) Bonner, Brian (Nikki) Wirth, Abigail (Elyas Rashid) Wirth, Lauren (JT) Berry, Cory Leger, Nolan Leger, Audrey Frazier, Natalie Frazier, William Frazier IV, Sam Tavano, Anthony Tavano and Rachael Tavano; great grandmother of Hugo, Archer, Evelyn, Raymond, and Sebastian. Also survived by family members Tim Moore, Tina Leger, and several nieces and nephews. Theresa was a long time parishioner of St. Augustine Catholic Church where she was in the choir and a member of the Altar Sodality. She enjoyed music, crocheting, Euchre, Pinochle, and playing with her cats; but more than anything she loved spending time with her family.
Visitation will be from 3:00-8:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 6:30 p.m. Friday, September 3, 2021 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. with a visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass Saturday, September 4, 2021 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 68035 Main St, Richmond, MI 48062.
