Theodore Sladowski

THEODORE M. SLADOWSKI age 87, a lifelong resident of Columbus Township died Friday, December 5, 2008 in his home. Mr. Sladowski was born May 19, 1921 in Hamtramck, MI. to the late Frank and Frances (Kolodcziak) Sladowski. He married Eunice Thibert in Richmond on May 5, 1951. Mrs. Sladowski died June 20, 1998. Ted was a self employed farmer and also a truck driver for Red Seal Oil in Centerline. He enjoyed going to the race track, playing cards and scratch off lotto tickets. He is survived by his children, Theodore (Sandra), Jon, Michael and Thomas and Susan (Rodney) Libby all of Columbus, David (Diane) of Riley and Diane (Michael) Mackin of Kenokee, ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by his siblings, Jesse Chovan, Irene Frederick, Lucille Manley and Henry, John and Gene Sladowski. A memorial service will be Saturday, December 13th at 10:00am in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Reverend Gerhardt Doroh, pastor of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran church will officiate.
