Susan Pilat

SUSAN PILAT age 55 of Casco Township died Wednesday, July 2, 2014 in her home after an extended illness. Mrs. Pilat was born October 23, 1958 in Mount Clemens to the late Frank and Eugenia (Ciul) Shariak. She graduated from Richmond High School in 1976 and Cosmetology School in Mount Clemens soon after and married Henry Pilat in Richmond on July 7, 1978. Susan worked as a banquet manager at the Cedar Glen Golf Course in Casco. She was a former Boy Scout Leader and enjoyed bowling and playing euchre. She is survived by her husband, Henry, children; Henry and Tristin Pilat of Casco, Jason Pilat of Chesterfield, Sara Pilat of Key West, FL, and Eric Pilat of Casco and brothers; James Shariak of Roseville and Richard Shariak of Casco. A funeral service will be on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 11:00am in Rewalt Funeral Home in Richmond. Reverend Philip Ching, associate pastor of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Richmond will officiate. Burial will be in Richmond Cemetery, Visiting will be Monday, July 7, 2014 from 3 to 8pm and Tuesday from 10 to 11:00am. Memorial contributions are suggested for the wishes of the family.
