Stella (O'Donnell) Konkol
June 13, 1912 — April 13, 2007
STELLA KONKOL, age 94 of Goodells, formerly of Lenox Township died Friday, April 13, 2007 in Medilodge of St. Clair. She was born June 13, 1912 in Poland to the late Waclaw and Kathryn (Sokol) Bartosiewicz. She married Anthony Konkol in Detroit in 1930. Mr. Konkol died in 1980. Mrs. Konkol was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Smiths Creek and enjoyed her animals and flower and vegetable gardens, and mostly spending time with her family. She is survived by her grandchildren Arthur (Rhonda) O'Donnell of Goodells, Philip (Susan) O'Donnell of Harrison, and Renee Vitale of Beverly Hills, Florida, nine great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her daughter. Phyllis O'Donnell on January 8, 2004. A funeral service will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Fr. Erwin Bauer will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michaels Cemetery, Richmond. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 8 and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30am in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family.
