Stanley Frederick Kaatz

Stanley Frederick Kaatz, 85, passed away Friday, October 16, 2020 at Henry Ford Hospital Macomb. Stanley was born November 13, 1934 to the late Frederick and Norene Kaatz.
Stanley was married to his love Mary Jean for 28 years, they were separated for 32 years, but in the end, they were together again. He is survived by his children, James Kaatz, John (Erin Chambers) Kaatz and Kathleen (Thomas) Prohaszka, grandchildren, Amber (Billy), Johnny, Katrina, Heather and Sarah, great grandchildren, Sophia and Grayson, siblings, Dale (Cindy) Kaatz, Bruce Kaatz, Lynette Carlson, Lorene (Steve) Randall and Marintha (Duke) Huffman. Preceded in death by his son, David, brother, Ronald, brother-in-law, Rusty and sister-in-law, Edna.
When Stanley was young, he played baseball, was in the 4H and had a cow named Iris that he loved. He enjoyed card games, especially euchre, traveling, watching old western movies and sports. Stanley had a dry sense of humor that everybody found very entertaining.
Funeral Service will be at 5:00 p.m. with a visitation from 1:00 p.m. until the time of Service, Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Michigan Parkinson Foundation, 30400 Telegraph Road, Suite 150, Bingham Farms, MI 48025.
