Shirley Mae Mason

SHIRLEY MAE MASON age 83 formerly of St. Clair Shores and Memphis died Tuesday, January 11, 2011 in the Seasons Hospice Care Plus Home in Chesterfield Township. Mrs. Mason was born December 29, 1927 in Royal Oak, Michigan to the late Charles and Lucille (Allen) Henderson. She married Hector Mason in Highland Park, Michigan on June 25, 1955. Mr. Mason died September 9, 1992. Shirley was a member of the Community Baptist Church of Richmond and enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law; Paul and Janice Pukita of Manitowoc, WI., Timothy and Janice Mason of Chesterfield Township., and James and Maryann Mason of Riley Township, her sister; Betty Hall of Largo, FL. , grandchildren; Jason (Michelle) Pukita, Sara, Tony and Daniel Mason and her great-granddaughter, Alyssa Pukita. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her brother; Charles Henderson. A funeral service will be on Saturday, January 15th at 7:00 p.m. in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Reverend Bryan Wise, pastor of Community Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Cadillac Memorial Cemetery in Clinton Township. Visiting will be on Saturday from 3 to 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the donor's choice.
