Sally Ann Jerore

Sally Ann Jerore, 87, of Columbus Twp., passed away peacefully February 16, 2025 at Medilodge of Richmond. Sally was born January 25th, 1938 to the late Harry and Charlotte Parsons. At the Michigan State fair, she met the love of her life, Edward Jerore. In 1959, they married and moved to St. Clair Shores where they went on to have two children, Michelle and Dane. In 1969, they moved to Richmond MI where they lived the out the remainder of their lives. Sally spent 25 years working in Richmond community schools as a hall monitor, cook and lunch lady. She also was active in the community as a Girl Scout troop leader for about 8 years. After her retirement, Sally enjoyed spending time cooking, baking and gardening. Along with her husband, they enjoyed trips to casinos, dinner and movie date nights, and spending time with family and grandchildren. Sally will always be remembered as someone who always had a smile on her face, and a positive attitude. No matter who you were, she was always welcoming and caring. She was not shy about trying to feed anyone who came over, and was always more concerned about how everyone else was over herself. In her final days, she was the perfect example of strength and grace. Sally made a positive impact on everyone she met and was loved by everyone who got to know her. She is survived by: Loving children Michelle (Michael) Stankovich and Dane Jerore; Her 3 grandchildren Kevin (Claire Daugherty) Stankovich, Kristy (Justin Piper) Stankovich and Kyle Jerore. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 year Edward Jerore

Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2025 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Service on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062.
