Roy Louis Niebauer

ROY LOUIS NIEBAUER 73 a lifelong resident of Richmond died Wednesday, July 20, 2011 in Henry ford Hospital in Detroit after a brief illness. Mr. Niebauer was born in St. Clair, MI. to the late Louis and Mildred (Westrick) Niebauer. He married Kathleen Raska in St: Mary Mystical Rose Catholic church in Armada on July 11, 1959. Roy graduated from St. Clair High School in 1956. He was a self employed Watkins salesman for forty-eight years and a Fuller Brush salesman for a short time. Roy was a member of the Knight of Columbus Council 4667 in Richmond and the Fourth Degree Council 0480. He loved playing cards and bowling and spending time with his family. For many years Roy could be heard calling square dances at area dances. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen, children; Gary of Port Huron, Sharon (Ronald) Gaier of Armada, David (Laura) of Richmond, Gayle of Richmond, Brian (Colleen) of Columbus Twp. and Kevin (Jennifer) of Casco, siblings; Edward (Sandra) of New Baltimore, Marvin (Barbara) of Oakland Twp., Ronald (Shari) of Sterling Heights and Kenneth (Barbara) of North Carolina and grandchildren; Lindsay, Lisa, Ronald, Michael, Brian, Nicholas, Kaitlin, Jessica, Mathew, Brandon, Brooke, Wolfgang and Sydney. He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Harold. A funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 25th at Holy Family Parish, All Saints Catholic Church in Memphis. Reverend Joseph Horn, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Richmond.
