Roxanne Silk

ROXANNE MARIE SILK 47 of Walloon Lake, formerly of Richmond has died. She was born May 23, 1960 in Richmond to Robert and Violet (Forcier) Silk. Roxanne graduated from Richmond High School in 1978 and attended Bellevue Community College. She retired after twenty-five years service as a spec trainer for the Honeywell Corp. She was a talented artist and was best known for her soft sculpture and portrait studies. She was a life long animal lover and her treasured pekes were her best friends. She was a devoted and generous friend and a beloved daughter, sister and aunt. Roxanne cherished her nieces and nephews. She will be lovingly remembered for her generous heart, her beauty, wit, and fiery spirit. Her abiding faith in our lord sustained her and she now rests in his loving arms. Roxanne is survived by her mother, Violet silk of Mt. Clemens, sisters, Josephine (Randy) Hudock of Troy, Isabel (David) Johnson of Holland and Deborah (Elethia) Silk of Niagra Falls, NY, brother, Robert Silk of Bellaire, nieces and nephews, Elizabeth (Eric) Alberts, Jennifer (Karry) Korich, Dave (Maria) Johnson, Christopher Johnson, Robert (RJ) Silk and Annie Silk, grand nieces and nephews, Nicole and Lauren Alberts, Kelsey and Kohl Johnson and Kaitlin Korich. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Silk in 1963. Funeral service will be Monday at 11:00am in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Burial will be in Richmond Cemetery.
