Ronald Michael Mortier

Ronald Michael Mortier, 69, died at home after a short illness surrounded by his family on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. Ron was born September 20, 1948 to the late Richard and Marie Mortier. Beloved husband of Sara Mortier; caring father of Alicia Letson and Jessica Mortier; loving papa of Savannah and Gianna Letson. Ron was survived by his brothers James (Elaine) and Robert Mortier, brothers-in-law Al (Theresa) and Tony Maniaci, sister-in-law Shirley Mortier and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers Richard (Donna) and Charles Mortier. Ron enjoyed riding his motorcycle, throwing horseshoes, playing cards and loved to spend time with all the ladies in his life.

Visitation will be 2:00-8:00 p.m. with a Scripture Service at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 2018 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass Monday, July 9, 2018 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 68035 Main St, Richmond, MI 48062.
