Ronald E. Boyce

RONALD EDWARD BOYCE age 56 of Columbus Township died unexpectedly on Thursday, October 8, 2015. Mr. Boyce was born April 20, 1959 to Lawrence and Niki (Comandella) Boyce. He graduated from Port Huron Northern High School in 1977 and attended Dade County Community College in FL. He married Patricia Emmi in Richmond on November 7, 1981. Ron owned and operated R.E. Boyce Construction Co. in Columbus Township until his health forced his retirement. Ron was a member of the NRA and enjoyed his time at the Richmond Sportsman Club shooting. He also enjoyed fishing and his dogs. His passion was spending time with his grandson Cooper. He is survived by his wife, Patricia, his mother, Niki Boyce of Port Huron, sons, Joshua of Columbus Twp, Jeffrey of Kalamazoo and Jacob of Portage, IN, grandson, Cooper Boyce, and siblings; Cathy (Glen) Wood of Port Huron, Karen (Peter) Chiang of HI. and Kelli (Glenn) McPhail of Port Huron. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Boyce and brother, Richard Boyce. A funeral service will be Tuesday, October 13th at 10:00am in Rewalt Funeral Home in Richmond. Reverend Sean Bonner, associate pastor of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Richmond will officiate. Visiting will be on Monday, October 12th from 3 to 8pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested for the wishes of the family.
