Roger Bertossi

Roger Bertossi, 89, of Richmond, transitioned to eternal life Thursday, June 22, 2018. Caring father of Benjy (Dolly) and Daniel (Donna) Bertossi and Anna (Mark) Fisher. Proud grandfather of Ross, Emily, Rachel and Austin. Preceded in death by his son Roger Lewis, siblings Mary Granger, Robert, Richard, and Norma Zembol. He leaves behind his beloved feline, Thelma Lou. Roger was a veteran of the U. S Army. Roger drove "Michigan Special" gravel trains during his working years. He enjoyed gardening, antique cars, his hot rod Ford, was good with his hands and tinkering with just about anything with moving parts. Visitation will be 3:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, July 13, 2018 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062. A Celebration of Life will be 12:00 p.m. with a visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church parish hall, 35110 Division Rd, Richmond, MI 48062. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105-9959
