Robert J. Kulman

ROBERT J. KULMAN age 86, a resident of Richmond Township died Saturday, March 21, 2009 in Port Huron Mercy Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Kulman was born December 25, 1922 in Richmond Township to the late John and Zelma (Kuehn) Kulman. He married Beverly Doane in Capac on July 24, 1948. Robert was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Richmond. He was a lifelong dairy farmer and member of the National Farmers Organization and enjoyed gardening. He is survived by his wife, Beverly, children, Kenneth (Nancy), Vern (Theresa), Janice (James) Schultz, Sandra (Joseph) Rhein, Laura (Patrick) Mason all of Richmond and Nora (Brian) Powers of Riley, siblings, Leroy (Rosemma) Kulman of Marine City, Carl (Diane) Kulman of Ray Twp., Wayne (Carol) Kulman of Richmond, Marvin (Lorraine) Kulman of Richmond, Gordon (Beverly) Kulman of Casco, Florence Short of N.C. and Vonda Baumstark of Richmond, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Elmer. A funeral service was Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at 10:00am in Trinity Lutheran Church. Reverend Kelsay Parker, pastor officiated.
