ROBERT L. EMERICK age 74 of Columbus Township died Sunday, July 15, 2012 in McLaren Medical Center in Mount Clemens after an extended illness. Mr. Emerick was born April 21, 1938 in Albion, Michigan to the late George and Stella (Sitarski) Emerick. He married Dianne Thomas in Roseville on December 15, 1995. Bob retired in 2003 as a press operator at Eldon Tool in Chesterfield. He was a member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Richmond and enjoyed building and flying remote model airplanes and bird watching. He is survived by his wife, Dianne, sons; Michael Lisa Emerick of Troy and Robert Shannon Emerick of Romeo, step children; Thomas (Patricia) Pritchard, Kevin (Michele) Pritchard, Brian (Dawn) Pitchard, Andrew (Katherine) Pritchard, Melinda Nelson all of IL. and Jonathan Pritchard of Arkansas, siblings: Tony (Joann) Emerick, Douglas Emerick, Ann Ackley all of Chesterfield, MI. and Alice Hall of Flushing, three grandchildren and fourteen step grandchildren. A memorial service will be Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 10:00am in St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Reverend Randy Lett, pastor will officiate. Memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family.
