Robert Bertossi

Robert Bertossi, 96, of Richmond, passed away peacefully with his family by his side Sunday, March 26, 2017. Beloved husband of Dolores Bertossi; Caring father of Marcia (Carl/Bill) Jahn, Mary (Michael) Woloszyn, Gary (Marie) Bertossi, Roy Bertossi; Proud grandfather of Kerry (Patrick) Jahn-Drone, Marni (Nick) Keenan, Rebecca (Ralph III) Johnson, Michelle (Blake) Jones and Elizabeth (Paul) Marcath; Great grandfather of William, Kai, Stanley, Lucas, Ralph IV, Amelia, Jeremiah and Olivia. Also, survived by his brother Roger Bertossi. Preceded in death by his first wife Bernice (Paetzel), siblings Marie Granger, Richard Bertossi, Norma Zembol. Robert drove truck for Miller Coal Company, Blue Water Concrete and retired from Foster Oil Co. He enjoyed gardening, antique cars, was good with his hands and loved tinkering with just about anything. Visitation will be 3:00-9:00 p.m. Friday, April 14, 2017 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062. A Celebration of Life will be 11:00 a.m. with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 35110 Division Rd, Richmond, MI 48062. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church "Building Fund" along with the Richmond Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 457, 36725 Division Road, Richmond, MI 48062.
