Richard Emanuel Cousino, 79, of Columbus Township, passed away at home, Sunday, February 14, 2021. Richard was born October 6, 1941 to the late Emanuel and Martha Cousino. Beloved husband of Linda (Friedel) Cousino; caring father of Mark (Patricia) Cousino, Scott (Kristen) Cousino, Anne (James) Korfas and Christopher (Kristyn) Cousino; cherished grandfather of Vanessa, Halle, Leah, Cole, Ella, Connor, Avery, Morgan, Lucy and Kate.
While COVID-19 deprived us of his warm embraces (the hugs...his amazing hugs) this past year, he still managed to make us all feel engulfed in his love. Many were blessed to be witness to his shining example of what it meant to be a good man, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. It is through God's will, Richard's determination, and his wife Linda's steadfast devotion that he was able to share his boundless love along with his undivided attention to ten grandchildren which made them feel heard, special, and worthy.
Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2021 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass, Saturday, March 6, 2021 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 68035 Main St, Richmond, MI 48062.
