Ramon Kent Taylor Sr. passed away on July 5th, 2022 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan with his loving wife and children by his side. Ramon was born July 8, 1933 in his family home in Greenville, Illinois. He was the first born to Vivian and Clarence Taylor. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Barbara, his children, grandchildren and a great grandchild all whom he loved very much. Ramon was a Korean War Veteran that was enlisted in the Air Force Reserves, and then drafted into the Army. After his time serving his country, he enjoyed scuba diving, skydiving, he raced and collected motorcycles. He also enjoyed reading history books and collecting military memorabilia. He had a special love for animals and the backyard wildlife. He especially cherished his wife, their time together, traveling and spending time with family. He loved the Selfridge Air Museum and was a Team Member of building the Spad Replica that is now on display at the museum. Ramon spent 40 years working and gaining friends that were more like family at US Equipment in Detroit. Ramon was so full of life and adventures, everyone loved to hear his stories. He will be deeply missed by his wife, children, grandchildren and friends.
