Ralph Weibel

RALPH EDWIN WEIBEL age 75 of Washington Township, MI. died Monday, December 17, 2012 in Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. Mr. Weibel was born March 7, 1937 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Herman and Lena (Wenger) Weibel. He married Judith Orewiler on September 5, 1959 in Lakewood, Ohio. Ralph graduated from Lakewood High School in 1955. He attended Florida State University and received his Bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State in 1961 and his Masters of Education degree from Eastern Michigan University. Mr. Weibel retired in 1996 as a longtime principal at Warren Woods Tower High School. He enjoyed golfing, sailing and skiing. He served as a longtime editor of the Warren Woods Alumni Newsletter. He is survived by his wife, Judy, children; Matthew and Michele Weibel of Murphy, Texas and Carey and Steve Lariviere of Clinton Twp., siblings; Herman and Phyllis Weibel of Shiloh, OH. and Susan and David Thomas of Westlake, OH. and grandchildren; Ethan, Kurtis and Jacob Lariviere. Cremation arrangements were handled by Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Ralph Weibel Scholarship Fund, 27900 Bunert, Warren, MI. 48088. A memorial service will be scheduled after the Holiday Season.
