Phyllis A. Yaek

PHYLLIS ANNA YAEK age 89 a lifelong resident of Richmond died Monday, December 9, 2013 in the Medilodge of Richmond. Mrs. Yaek was born March 3, 1924 in Ray Center, Michigan to the late Otto and Martha (Eichbreght) Paetow. She married Edward Yaek in Lenox Township on April 26, 1947. Mr. Yaek died March 18, 2011. Phyllis was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Richmond and formerly worked in the Memphis Schools cafeteria. She was a member of the Bi-Water Motors Club and enjoyed baking, gardening and tending to her flowers. She is survived by her children; Everette and Peggy Yaek of Richmond, Elliotte and Marie Yaek of Richmond, Annette and Joseph Agosta of Columbus and Lynnette and Dennis O'Brien of New Baltimore, sisters; Beatrice Calka of Sterling Heights and Jeannetta Logan of Marysville, fifteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 11:00am in Trinity Lutheran Church. Reverend Kelsay Parker, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in Meade Cemetery. Visiting will be on Friday from 3 to 8pm in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond and Saturday from 10:30 to 10:00am in the church. Memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family.
