Phillip John Traylor

Phillip John Traylor, 86, of West Branch, formerly of Richmond, passed away December 5, 2021 at MyMichigan Medical Center. Phillip was born August 24, 1935 to the late Phillip and Katherine Traylor. Loving husband of the love of his life for 61 years, Patricia Traylor; cherished father of Dawn (Scott) Behem; special grandfather of Nicholas and Nathan Behem. Also, survived by his sister, Phyllis Little and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his son, David Traylor. Phillip married Patricia in 1960 and was a sheet metal worker for 40 plus years. He was a long time member of the Richmond Masonic Lodge #187, Pioneer Power and the Richmond Antique Engine and Threshing Association, American Legion in Prescott and in his younger years the East Detroit area Boy Scouts. For the last 20 years they would drive their fifth wheel down to Florida and on the way down they would stop at different places like Tennessee and visit the Grand Ole Opry. While in Florida they loved to go to Walt Disney World, Daytona Bike Week and Daytona International Speedway. Phillip enjoyed fishing, hunting, building model cars and planes, wood crafting, and watching the Detroit Lions and U of M football.

Visitation will be 3:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 12:00 P.M. with a visitation from 11:00 A.M. until the time of Service Thursday, December 16, 2021 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062.
