Philip Formicola

PHILIP FORMICOLA age 40 of Richmond died Tuesday, January 11, 2011 in his home after and extended illness. He was born November 21, 1970 in Detroit to Umberto and Roseline (Mannino) Formicola. He married Marsha Harrington in Macomb Twp on June 7, 1996. Phil graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1988 and from Macomb County Community College in 1990. He was the owner of Centricraft Homes in Richmond and a member of Community Baptist Church of Richmond. Phil was a devoted family man who enjoyed golfing, fishing and 4-wheeling with his children whom he enjoyed most of all. He is survived by his wife, Marsha, children, Philip, Mirella and Louis, parents, Umberto and Roseline Formicola of Shelby Township, siblings; Robert of Shelby, Mary (Raffaele) Berlingieri of Rochester and father and mother-in-law, James and Iyako Harrington of Ludington and Moorehaven, FL. A funeral service will be Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 11am in the Heritage Baptist Church, 8291 East 14 mile, Sterling Heights, MI. Reverend Bryan Wise, pastor of the Community Baptist Church of Richmond will officiate. Visiting will be Friday from 3 to 8pm in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond and Saturday from 10:30 to 11am in the church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Community Baptist Church of Richmond or the Cancer Treatment Center of America.
