Penny L. Hooper

PENNY LOU HOOPER age 66, a lifelong resident of Richmond died Monday, May 25, 2015 in her home after an extended illness. Penny was born April 7, 1949 in Grosse Pointe, Michigan to the late Eugene and Geraldine (Bliss) Weber. She graduated from Richmond High School in 1967 and married James Hooper in Richmond on November 21, 1970. Penny worked as a para-professional at Richmond Community Schools for twenty-two years. She loved to go antiquing, do scrap booking and make jewelry. She was a great photographer. Penny is survived by her husband, James, son, Jamie of Richmond, her sister, Pamela Faust of Wood Haven,her mother-in-law, Irene Hooper of Richmond and several nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation on Saturday, May 30, 2015 from noon to 4:00pm in Rewalt Funeral Home in Richmond. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested for the Richmond Fire Department or the Richmond Lions Club.
