Paulette Helen Trombley

Heaven has gained another angel….

Paulette Helen Trombley, 80, of Richmond Twp., passed away peacefully Friday, June 30, 2023 at Parkdale Senior Living with her husband and daughter by her side. Paulette was born May 23, 1943 to the late Peter and Helen Grzadzinski. Beloved wife of Raymond (“Ray”) Trombley Jr., cherished mother of Dawn (Lewis) Richards and caring grandmother of Garrett Esper. Paulette graduated from St. Louis High School in Mt. Clemens in 1961, and in 1963 married the love of her life, Raymond.  Paulette and Ray raised their two children, Dawn and the late Richard (“Rick”) Trombley in Richmond and have remained life-long residents. Paulette was a member of the First United Church of Christ where she taught Sunday school and served on many mission committees throughout her lifetime.  She loved helping the less fortunate and was a member of the committee for the Richmond Community Food Pantry before she passed. Paulette was a stay-at-home mom while her children were young and later worked for H&R Block doing tax preparation for several years before she settled on a career in the insurance industry.  She loved going to the cottage in Sand Lake, camping, traveling, watching the Red Wings and enjoying time with friends and family. Paulette is also survived by her siblings Catherine Cart and Peter (Cecelia) Grzadzinski, mother-in-law Lucille Trombley, sisters-in-law Pam (Tom) Klauer, Veronica Chrostowski, Shirley (Bill) Deaner, Nancy (John) Pollock, Bonnie (Ron) Renshaw and brothers-in-law Larry Trombley and Garry (Carrie) Trombley.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her sister Patricia Jorgensen, father-in-law Raymond Trombley, and brothers-in-law Charles Cart and Robert (“Bob”) Chrostowski.

Visitation will be from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2023 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Service at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Richmond Community Food Pantry.
