Paula Louise Robbins, 61 of Lansing died March 19, 2007 in Hospice House of Lansing after an extended illness. She was born September 21, 1945 in Chicago, IL to the late Paul and Etta June (Rosencrans) Franklin. Paula was raised in Muskegon, Mi. where she was graduated from Muskegon High School in 1963. She married William Robbins on January 30, 1965, and together they moved to Lansing to raise their family. Paula was an avid Detroit Red Wings fan and enjoyed vacationing on Lake Michigan, sewing, baking, gardening, raising her dogs, and mostly spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, William; sons, Christopher (Linda) of Washington Twp., and Donald (Kelly) of Gilbert, Az.; three brothers, Steven Franklin of Muskegon, Donald Franklin of Lakeland, Fl., and Paul Franklin of Muskegon; a sister, Lisa Clendendon of Fruitport and four grandchildren, Molly, Austin, Keegan and Olivia. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 24, 2007 in Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, 325 West Washtenaw, Lansing, Mi. 48933. The Rev. Wesley Emerson will officiate. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., Saturday, in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Wishes of the Family.
