Patricia J. Gilbert

PATRICIA JEAN GILBERT age 67, a forty-seven year resident of Lenox Township died Monday, December 13, 2010 in her home after an extended illness. Mrs. Gilbert was born July 10, 1943 in Roseville, Michigan to the late Henry and Margie (Tucker) Hernden. She married Rodney Gilbert in New Haven on September 18, 1961. Mr. Gilbert died April 1, 2010. Pat enjoyed doing crafts but mostly enjoyed her weekend trips with her sisters and daughter, Janice and very special friend, Theresa and her lunches with her granddaughter, Angelina. She is survived by her children; Cynthia and James Willey of Algonac, Rodney "Jay" Gilbert of New Haven, John Gilbert of New Haven and Janice and Tony Woodruff of New Haven, siblings; James Hernden of Iowa, Marion Rossbach of New haven, Jane Avendt of New Haven, Gloria Rank of New Haven, Ronald Hernden of Roscommon, and Richard Hernden of Big Rapids, eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her sisters; Judy Grewe and Clara Leroy. Cremation arrangements were handled by Rewalt Funeral Home in Richmond.
