Patricia Davis

PATRICIA EVELYN DAVIS age 70 of Ypsilanti, formerly of Richmond died Wednesday, December 14, 2011 in the Arbor Hospice after an extended illness. Mrs. Davis was born November 17, 1941 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada to the late Harold and Evelyn (Dumouchelle) Sheffield. She married Bradley Davis in Richmond on August 20, 1977. Mr. Davis died May 24, 2003. Pat graduated from L'Cruse High School in 1959 and attended Pasadena Community College and Macomb County Community College. She served as a Spiritualistic Minister at the Divine Dimensions Church in Clinton Township. Pat enjoyed bowling, playing softball and was known as a great cook. She is survived by her sons, Theodore Empson of Ann Arbor, Eric (Ivy) Empson of Ypsilanti and Shawn (Melissa) Empson of Bellville, grandchildren, Alexis Adams-Empson, Caley House and Evan, Amy, Shawn and Evelyn Empson and sisters, Rosalie Sheffield of Harrison Twp., Anne (Richard) Duden of Shelby, Marilyn Koscierzynski of Harrison Twp., and Sandra Tews and Theodora Sheffield both of Fort Myers, FL.. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her beloved daughters, Heather and Amy Empson on July 27, 1981. A funeral service will be on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at 1:00 pm in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. The Reverend Lori Kristofice will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Richmond. Visiting will be Saturday, December 17th from 3 to 8pm and Sunday from 12:00 pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family.
