NORMAN ROBERT SCHADE age 74 of Casco Township past from this life on September 3, 2015 in McLaren Macomb Hospital. He was born July 21, 1941 in Chesterfield Township to the late Edward and Helen (Yaek) Schade. He married Diane Schwark on June 19, 1962 at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Muttonville, MI. Norm was baptized and confirmed at Zion United Church of
Christ in Mt. Clemens. He spent most of his life in Memphis, MI where he attended school and played football. Norm enlisted in the Michigan National Guard in 1960 and served until he was honorably discharged in 1963. He then enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserves and served until he was honorably discharged in 1966. Norm drove truck his whole life and retired from Chrysler Transport Inc. in 2001 after 32 years service. He is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Diane, children; Robert (Jennie) Schade of St Clair, Cheryl (Robert) Weiss of Beaverton, Julie (Joe) Colasinski of Richmond, Joanne Schade of Chesterfield, Daniel Schade of Richmond, Jason (Jacqueline) Schade of Chesterfield, Dawn (Todd Campbell) LeFever of New Haven and Michael (Alyson) Schade of Richmond, grandchildren; Tiffany LeFever, Jodi Weiss, Michael, Lydia and David Schade and Tyler Weiss, step-grandchildren; Kendal and Jordan Valentine, David Perry and Andrea and Philip Machin and step great-grandchildren; Isabelle and Emma Machin, siblings; Arlen (Lucille) Schade of Casco, Glen (Marilyn) Schade of Goodells, Marvin Schade of Casco, brother-in-law, Wilbur Heldt of Ray and sister-in-law, Marilyn Schade of Richmond, He was preceded in death by his brother Edward Schade, sisters, Shirley (deceased Arnold) Schroeder and Lorraine Heldt and sister-in-law Phyllis Schade. A memorial service will be on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 7:00pm in Rewalt Funeral Home in Richmond with visiting starting at 2:30pm. Reverend Gerhardt Doroh will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Richmond Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family.
