Norman Carl Martin

Norman Carl Martin, age 82, of Lenox Township died Tuesday, April 9, 2013 in McLaren-Macomb Hospital. He was born October 17, 1930 in Casco Township to the late Chris and Freda Martin. He married Margaret Okalski on October 15, 1955 in St. Augustine Catholic Church, Richmond. Mr. Martin worked for National Twist Drill for over 20 years and then in his retirement for Michigan Meadow Golf Course. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and the American Legion Memphis Post. He also enjoyed woodworking and tending to his garden. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; son, Steven (Sherry) Martin of Marysville; two daughters, Mary (Tim) Ross of Memphis and Gloria (James) Trotz of Lenox Twp. and a sister, Evelyn (Herb) Wolfe; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Anthony in 1990 and a daughter, Jacqueline in 1970 and several brothers and sisters. A private family burial will take place in St. Michael's Cemetery, Richmond.
