Norma J. Harrison
July 27, 1942 — January 5, 2012
NORMA JEAN HARRISON age 69, a thirty year resident of Wales Township died unexpectedly Thursday, January 5, 2012 in her home. Mrs. Harrison was born July 27, 1942 in Grayling, Michigan to the late John and Kathleen (McKillop) Robinson. Norma graduated from Dondero High School in Royal Oak, MI. in 1960 and married James Harrison on July 2, 1960 in Clawson. She was a member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Richmond and served with the F.L.W. Assoc. and the Ladies Aide. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting and doing crafts. She worked at Detroit Edison for five years and retired from Dunn Paper Corp. in Port Huron. She is survived by her husband, James; daughter; Valerie Harrison of Vero Beach, Florida, sister; Joanne Boyd of Carrollton, OH. and grandsons; Chase Harrison-LaRue and Teague Jean LaRue both of Remond, WA. A funeral service will be on Monday, January 9, 2011 at 10:30am in St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Reverend Randy Lett, pastor will officiate. Visiting will be Sunday from 3 to 8pm in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond and Monday from 10 to 10:30 am in the church. Memorial contributions may be directed to the St. Peter Lutheran Church Ladies Aide Group projects.
