Norbert L. Veith

NORBERT LEONARD VEITH age 77 of Lenox Township, MI. died Wednesday, December 11, 2013 in McLaren Macomb Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Veith was born January 8, 1936 in Ray Center, Michigan to the late John and Stella Veith. He graduated from New Haven High School in 1955 and served with the United States Army. He married Josephine Annarino in New Haven on May 17, 1969. Mrs. Veith died April 28, 2006. Norbert enjoyed hunting and was known as "Mr. Fix It". He enjoyed fixing and building just about anything. He worked as a machinist for Weldaloy Products in Warren for forty-seven years, retiring in 1996. He is survived by his children; Mark Veith of Brockway, Debra and Mark Tietsort of Tulsa, OK. and Christy and Kevin Holka of Eastpointe, brothers; Donald and Melody Veith of New Haven and Raymond and Rose Veith of Lenox, and grandchildren; Jacob and Joseph Veith . A funeral service will be on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 1:30pm in Rewalt Funeral Home in Richmond. His son-in-law, Mark Tietsort, executive pastor of the Believer's Church in Tulsa, OK. will officiate. Cremation will follow service. Visiting will be on Friday, December 13th from 3 to 8pm and Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Michigan Diabetes Association, 30200 Telegraph Road, Suite 105, Bingham Farms, MI. 48025.
